SUPER HOOLIGAN The Super Hooligan series, created by Roland Sands and featuring a broad range of motorcycles with displacements 750cc and up as well as electric bikes, is one of the most thrilling MotoAmerica events. The opening double- header at Daytona excited crowds with tight groups and a dizzying number of lead swaps. With a grid of 40 competitors in both main events, it was the Saddlemen team that reigned supreme, netting a 1- 2- 3 finish in both races aboard Harley- Davidson Pan Americas.
James Rispoli with the # 1 plate secured the top spot in the first race after six laps of action, followed by teammates Cory West and Jake Lewis. Aside from the Pan Americas, other bikes in the top 10 included a Harley FXR, two Ducati Streetfighter V2s, three Yamaha MT- 09s, and a Yamaha XSR900.
Race 2 saw a podium shuffle as Jake Lewis crossed the finish line ahead of teammates West and Rispoli after Rispoli was suddenly overtaken in the final lap, dropping from 1st to 5th before fighting his way back onto the podium. Gus Rodio aboard a Ducati was a top contender in the tight leading pack before bumping against the wall with mere seconds left, dropping to 6th.
