end of the production line, the bikes are collected by Kilo robots— designed and built by Piaggio Group subsidiary PFF— before being sent for final testing.
MOTO GUZZI MUSEUM Adjacent to the factory is the new home of the Moto Guzzi Museum. The 32,300−square-foot building is inspired by the visual language of Moto Guzzi motorcycles, and the light-filled exhibition areas echo the details that characterize bikes themselves, the company says. The unique design of the exhibition spaces and the contemporary layout are set to offer visitors a fresh perspective on the brand’ s history, evolution, and the social and economic impact it has had on the region.
Visitors can explore the history of motorcycling by viewing more than 160 restored bikes, including the classic G. P., the OEM’ s latest range, and racing bikes that have won 14 world titles in the MotoGP World Championship.
The new facilities also include 45,200 sq. ft. of outdoor space, with 115−foot trees along a walkway that offers views of the factory in full production. The facility also features a Motoplex store, cafe, areas for workshops and events, and a new auditorium. The new factory and museum opened Sept. 3, and tickets for touring the facility are available through Moto Guzzi’ s ticketing portal.
