INSTALLATION: ABOUT AS EASY AS IT GETS
If you’ ve ever hesitated to add an accessory because you don’ t want to spend an afternoon installing it, there’ s good news here. Installation was extremely straightforward. Basically, the original windshield comes off and the One-Piece Sport Medium Windshield goes on. The only additional step was installing the grommets in the side-protector areas.
There was no complicated installation process and no major modification required. It’ s the kind of accessory that can be installed quickly and then forgotten about— exactly what I want from something like this. It also allows you to go back to the stock windshield just as easily.
Ski-Doo rates the One-Piece Sport Medium Windshield at 15 inches( 39 cm) in height. It features integrated side deflectors and is designed to provide additional wind protection while maintaining a sleek, integrated appearance. It’ s also compatible with any set of handguards and works with Ski-Doo’ s LED Signal Lights for handguards.
For my riding, the Ski-Doo One- Piece Sport Medium Windshield strikes a perfect balance.
I like the aggressive look of a low windshield, but I also appreciate being able to ride comfortably when temperatures start falling. The windshield provides more protection without going to the extreme of a tall windshield— and without compromising the sporty appearance of the sled.
