The ZR 858 R-XC EPS is proof that a trail sled doesn’ t have to choose between aggressive performance and rider comfort. For 2027, the Factory Edition combines the Matryx RMK platform with a choice of Patriot 9R or Patriot Boost power and a suspension package developed for riders who aren’ t afraid to use every bit of it. Walker Evans Racing Factory Edition shocks, heavy-duty rails, and reinforced bumpers give this sled a level of durability and suspension capability intended for aggressive backcountry riding. The shortened centralized cooling system also helps reduce weight as well as snow and ice buildup. But the biggest appeal is that the Factory Edition arrives ready for the sort of abuse that would require considerable modification on a lesser sled. It is expensive, specialized, and unapologetically aggressive. For the mountain rider who wants to buy a sled and immediately start pushing it hard rather than building it into something tougher, the RMK Factory Edition is a compelling package.
