RIDING AROUND
More Signs Along the Way
AS A MOTORCYCLIST, I read lots of signs. As a word nerd, I notice the irony and unintended meanings that certain signs present. As a photographer, I collect pictures of these fun signs.
Long-time Rider readers may remember my column from 2012, Signs Along the Way, highlighting some favorites, like the intersection of four Main Streets, the moose advisory sign with a Rocky Squirrel sticker, and the STOP sign that had EATING ANIMALS added, followed by WITHOUT GARLIC.
On every ride, I look for signs along the way. I hope the ones assembled here make you smile too. – Bones
