Kawasaki has announced the return of the Jet Ski STX 160 series watercraft , including the Jet Ski STX 160X and flagship Jet Ski STXR 160LX models for 2025 . These models are set to hit Kawasaki dealerships beginning in the Winter of 2025 .

In addition to the STX 160 ’ s standard features , the Jet Ski STX160X features adjustable electronic cruise control speed , which can be set with the Up / Down buttons located on the handlebar . It also features a premium painted deck and a comfortable handle grip that tapers outward , making it easier to hold on when riding in a straight line .

The Jet Ski STX160LX flagship model includes the JetSound integrated audio system with smartphone connectivity as standard equipment . The system consists of an amplifier , an audio controller built into the handle and two speakers placed under the mirrors . It also features a two-tone dedicated deck mat and LXury seat designed to fit the rider ’ s body to further improve ergonomic comfort . Similar to the STX 160X , it comes equipped with a comfortable handle grip , adjustable cruise control speed via the Up / Down buttons and a premium painted deck with full graphics . The last of the legendary Yamaha snowmobiles will be sold to the highest bidder . Yamaha ’ s North American Snowmobile Team will auction the final iconic Sidewinder SRX snowmobile , number 998 of 998 . Proceeds from the sale will go to the snowmobile community to offer support for years to come .

The auction will take place online from February 9 to February 15 and will be open to all bidders with a residential home address in the U . S . or Canada . The auction will last seven days . This collectible snowmobile will come with a hand-built , custom crate to display the last Sidewinder SRX as it appears at major snowmobile events this season . The # 998 SRX was unveiled at Hay Days .

On February 15 , Yamaha will join the Snowmobile Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony at Eagle River Snowmobile Hall of Fame to host a Yamaha Snowmobiles celebration and announce the lucky winner of the 2025 Sidewinder SRX . The funds raised by the auction will be donated to the ISMA grant program to be given out to the North American Snowmobile Community .
