Dealers reported decreases across the board in February 2025 compared to the same period last year, according to composite data from more than 1,800 U. S. dealers that use the Lightspeed DMS. The only exception was in the Midwest, which reported a 6.4 % increase in parts sales. The West reported the biggest drop in parts revenue, which dropped 9.3 %, followed by the South, down 8 %, and the Northwest, down 6.9 %. The Northeast was down the least in parts, reporting just a

0.7 % drop. Service revenue in the Northwest dipped 15.7 %, with the Midwest and West reporting between 6-8 % decreases. Both the Northeast and South reported less signifi cant dips in service revenue, with 3.8 % and 2.5 % respectively. The sales department was down an average of 9 % in February 2025 compared to the same period last year. The Northwest was down 17.2 %, followed by the Midwest, down 16.3 %. PARTS SALES Parts sales revenue was up at 746 dealerships and down at 1,112.
SERVICE SALES Service revenue was up at 776 dealerships and down at 1,058.
MAJOR UNIT SALES A total of 616 dealerships were up in major unit sales and 973 were down.
