STIHL NAMES NEW MARKETING V . P . Stihl has named Eric Bjorling its new vice president of marketing effective January 29 , 2024 . Bjorling will be responsible for leading the development of U . S . brand and retail marketing communications strategies including national advertising programs , public relations , merchandising and national brand programs .

TAKEUCHI REGIONAL BUSINESS MANAGER Takeuchi-US announced Jeffrey Jacobsmeyer as its new Central Midwest regional business manager . Jacobsmeyer ’ s duties will include dealer development and recruitment , inventory control , forecasting , promotions , sales planning and goal setting in the Central Midwest region , which encompasses Iowa , Kansas , Minnesota , Missouri , Montana , Nebraska , North Dakota , Oklahoma and South Dakota .

DEWALT PLANS CENTENNIAL PARTIES Dewalt announced that on May 14 , 2024 , company leaders will honor its
100-year anniversary by ringing the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange . The company is planning several activities in 2024 to commemorate its centennial . Raymond DeWalt founded his namesake company in 1924 .

GEHL SKID STEERS AND COMPACT LOADERS Gehl announced its all-new lineup of mid-range compact track loaders ( CTL ) and skid steers are now available at dealers in North America . Manufactured in Madison , South Dakota , the lineup includes three new Gehl skid steer loaders ( the V210 , V230 and the V275 ) and three new compact track loaders ( the VT210 , VT230 and VT275 ). The manufacturer said it made improvements in safety , comfort , productivity , simplicity and serviceability over previous Gehl skid steers and CTLs .
YANMAR ROLLS OUT COMPACT LOADERS Yanmar Compact Equipment rolled its first compact track loaders , the TL100VS , off the production line for the North American market . Yanmar ’ s expansion of compact equipment offerings is the culmination of four years of extensive research and development following the company ’ s acquisition of a U . S . manufacturing facility and engineering team focused on compact track loaders . The new line leverages Yanmar ’ s more than 100 years of industry expertise and reliability standards . The compact track loaders also signal Yanmar ’ s emergence as a comprehensive compact equipment solutions provider for its dealers , fleet customers and individual operators in the construction , utility and rental industries .

GREENZIE AND BOBCAT ANNOUNCE COLLABORATION While sharing its new collaboration with Bobcat on an autonomous mower , Greenzie announced that 2023 was the tech company ’ s best mowing season yet . And it hinted at additional autonomous mowers coming online this year .
Greenzie , a software company that develops autonomous mowers and equipment , said its customers set records on autonomous mowing hours , mowing more acres than all of their first four seasons combined .
The autonomous Grenzie technology is in the field on the Wright Autonomous Stander ZK , the first Greenzie equipped mower based on the iconic Wright Stander ZK . Additionally , Greenzie powered versions and upfits on commercial zero turn mowers from Bobcat , Scag , and Mean Green Mowers will be available and in production by 2024 .
