Most Minnesotans live in the southern third of the state , but a majority of them who are snowmobilers forget about the south and customarily go “ up north ” to ride because there ’ s usually more snow and colder weather . My hosts admitted that snow and riding conditions in southeastern Minnesota can be hit or miss , but they ’ re usually able to ride from early January to early March .

Thanks to the remarkable scenery and fun trails everywhere , days I rode there were definitely a hit for me .
