Cutting south , the group would go toward Newberry and the famous Pine Stump Junction for a possible stop , then work farther south to the bottom of the Peninsula and the seagoing town of Naubinway for a mandatory stop at the Top of the Lake Snowmobile Museum . A zip up to the tiny town of Cut River would lead to dinner – either at the Cut River Inn or the Bay View – before concluding the ride back to St . Ignace .
