The latest permanent addition to the Wente Family Vineyards wine portfolio is the 2024 Pacific Mist Pinot Grigio. A tribute to the cooling breezes and coastal influence that define California’ s Central Coast, the pinot grigio is cold fermented and aged in stainless-steel tanks to maintain the floral aromatics. The wine has a lively palate, bursting with crisp green apple, zesty grapefruit, and a bright citrus core, the company says. It’ s available for a suggested retail price of $ 18 for a 750-ml. bottle.
Campari America has launched Crodino, an alcohol-free spritz, in the U. S. market. Crafted in Italy over a six-month infusion and blending process, Crodino features aromatics of clove, cardamom, nutmeg and coriander seeds, according to the company, along with more than 10 other herbs and spices. The result is an alcohol-free, ready-to-serve spritz with a spicy herbal and citrus finish. Crodino comes in a 175- ml.( 5.95 fl-oz.) glass bottle and retails for $ 14.99 per 4-pack.
Piper-Heidsieck has introduced Brut Rosé, a blend of 50 % pinot noir, 25 % chardonnay and 25 % meunier. The grapes are sourced from dry-farmed vineyards and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks, resulting in a Champagne that stays true to the brand’ s signature style while delivering a more fruit-forward, vibrant and intense profile. Piper-Heidsieck Brut Rosé is available nationwide for a suggested retail price of $ 74 per 750-ml. bottle.
Bonterra Organic Estates has unveiled Ranch Wine, a trio of lightly effervescent, lower-ABV offerings made from sustainably grown California grapes. Available in three flavors including Pineapple Key Lime, Strawberry Hibiscus and Chillable Cherry Wild Raspberry, Ranch Wine comes in at 11 % ABV and has no added flavors, according to the winery. Ranch Wine is available at poolside bars, resort patios and at select national retailers for a suggested retail price of $ 14.99 each.
Old Forester Distilling Co. announced the national release of its Old Forester Cocktail Cherries, designed to complement the brand’ s portfolio of American whiskeys. The drink garnish is made from amarena-style cherries in a bourbon-infused syrup. Each cherry is steeped in the syrup, providing a burst of sweetness and a hint of classic bourbon character, the company says. The cherries, retailing for $ 19.99, are available nationally at select retailers and liquor stores.
Brewed with real orange and lime peels, Corona Sunbrew Citrus Cerveza combines bold citrus flavors with traditional Mexican beer. The new brew, which has 27.5g carbs, 4.5 % ABV and 180 calories per 12 fl. oz., is now available at retailers, sporting arenas and concert venues in a 6- and 12-pack of 12-oz. bottles and 24-oz cans.( Prices vary by market.)
Kōloa Rum Company has unveiled Kōloa Kaua‘ i Cane Fire Cinnamon Flavored Hawaiian Rum, distilled, blended and bottled in Kalaheo, Kaua‘ i, using cane sugar and cut with filtered rainwater from Mount Waiʻaleʻale. The rum is twice-distilled in a vintage 1,210-gallon steam-powered copper pot still, then macerated with cinnamon. Kōloa Kaua‘ i Cane Fire Rum comes in at 40 % ABV / 80 proof and is available at a suggested retail price of $ 32.99- $ 35.99 per 750-ml. bottle.
