toward a mutually beneficial outcome .
While in his current position , Janner has been able to meet dealerships and their dealers , traveling to their locations to see how they operate . By making their business relationship a little more personal with a round of golf or sitting down with them at dinner , it allows Janner to show clients that he ’ s not just some guy behind a computer screen . These personal connections help Janner to give better business insight and tools for success .
With Janner ’ s help , one dealership saw huge success and was able to change their finance capture rate from 22 % to over 60 %. This was accomplished just by having them contact the business manager while the customer was still in the office and putting in their application . This small change made a massive impact on the dealership .
“ I ’ ll feel that I ’ m successful if every one of the business managers on my team and their families are happy ,” Janner says . “ If all dealerships stay with me for the entire year , then I ’ m happy . It ’ s a funny thing when you are in a situation where you can make an impact directly on someone ’ s life . And when that person succeeds , you can see the confidence it breeds . I want to leave them with the skill sets they need so that they can be successful for life and continue to pass them on . If my people are happy , then I ’ m happy .”

in terms of problem solving on behalf of customers ,” Bailey says . “ In general , I try to lean into a customer-centric approach and put them at the center of all the decisions we make . If we don ’ t win with the customer , then we will struggle in the market .”
Early in her career , Bailey embraced designthinking to elevate the experiences consumers have with products and companies . Employing the design-thinking methodology has inspired Bailey to solve consumer-centered problems by finding new ways to apply new and existing technology in customer-facing applications .
This has been Bailey ’ s inspiration and there ’ s nothing more exciting for her than to see a product that she was involved in developing in the hands of consumers and seeing their response in real time . Bailey views electrification at scale as an opportunity to appeal to both new and existing boaters . The ease of use , convenience and portability of electric propulsion will allow consumers to reimage their experience , both on and off the water .
In addition to leading with a customer-centric approach , Bailey also inspires women in the workplace to be more , engage more and inspire more . She leads by example and creates a more inclusive work environment , empowering diversity and an innovative culture .
Bailey leads Women On Water ( WOW ) – Mercury chapter . Since Bailey has taken on leadership roles in the organization , she has inspired the company to embrace employee development , helping under-represented employees identify mentors , advocates and seek career coaching .
“ I really hope to inspire others to follow their dreams . I spent a lot of time early on in my career trying to identify my unique set of skills and personal passions , so I think it ’ s important for people to
align themselves with opportunities that allow them to lean into their personal passions ,” Bailey says .
Bailey leads with empathy , listens for understanding , and loves working in white space . She believes individuals are more successful when they have a passion for what they ’ re delivering . She pairs individuals with roles that not only emphasize their strengths , but that also provide growth opportunities .
For Bailey , helping others realize their potential is something she ’ s personally and professionally invested in . She works to ensure we can all find a common ground and an opportunity to move the human cause forward and believes we can all learn from each other .
