The MC-ZERO 450
Earlier this year, McConaghy Yachts, builder of luxury carbon fiber vessels partnered with Zero-Jet, builder of 48V electric jets, to launch MC-ZERO Tenders, and its flagship MC-ZERO 450. The MC-ZERO 450 features a rigid carbon hull and worldfirst and patent pending‘ moveable helm’ to allow boaters to increase deck space. Propelled by twin 30kW( equivalent 80HP) ZeroJet electric drives, the 450 delivers immediate, quiet power. Made with the latest 48V SAFIERY 32.4kWh solid-state battery system, the setup provides quiet, clean propulsion, designed specifically for modern yacht tenders.
NV1 Founders Edition
Making its grand debut at the Palm Beach International Boat Show, ENVGO, an aerospace-driven marine technology company, launched the NV1 Founders Edition. NV1 was built by the team behind Aeryon Labs, creator of the SkyRanger R70 autonomous aerial system used in defense and mission critical environments. Though the vessel can operate like a regular EV boat in water, in just seven seconds, NV1 autonomously lifts onto its computer-controlled hydrofoils, transitioning into flight at a cruise speed of 23 mph( 20 kts). The 25-foot vessel features an 8.5-foot beam and can reach up to 50 mph( 43 knots) with a range of 54 miles. The performance comes from a 330 hp dualmotor electric drivetrain paired with an 83- kWh battery pack and DC fast charging.
