The new Thunder Press

Mitch : Not a fan . The new format reminds me of every other free magazine at the bike shops .

Many have come and gone with this same look . Just like H-D , not understanding their base customers , leading to the current status .

Sorry , David , but yeah , you ’ re a little off here . Hate us all you want , and that ’ s fine , free country and all ( though less free every day , unfortunately ), but Thunder Press is arguably and demonstrably not like “ every other free magazine at the bike shops .” Fact is , there is nothing like Thunder Press out there , anywhere , free or not . That ’ s especially true with this issue . Also , I ’ m curious what you think Harley-Davidson should be building to attract all those easy-to-influence , motorcycling-loving millennials and Gen-Z kiddies . Take your time ; we ’ ll wait . -MB

Mitch : The changes to Thunder Press remind me of the glory days of Motorcyclist – but with a V-Twin twist . Great stories , interesting angles , energetic writing , insightful and challenging columns , and all of it combined with pleasing layouts and photography . And humor ! Gotta have that . The Nova story in particular reminded me of the Development Series bits you wrote in the ’ 90s and 2000s . Anyway , keep it up .

Scottie Deubler , The Voice

Joy : Happy to see this , as Scottie ’ s not just the primary AFT announcer , he is one of the best sportscaster in all sports media . His natural , measured cadence is a perfect tempo for the subject on the screen and his information is always accurate . Scottie is the hardest-working person in the spectacle that is an AFT production . I enjoy the pit walks , the play-by-play , the color commentary , rider intros and the podcast . His skills are second to none !
