Once again , StateWays is recognizing innovation in the control states with our fourth-annual Best Practices Awards . This year ’ s winners include agencies leading the way in retailing , distribution , enforcement , education and more .

All beverage control jurisdictions throughout North America were eligible to enter the awards , including states , provinces , counties and municipalities . The winners were chosen by a panel of judges made up of State- Ways editorial staff .
The Oregon Liquor Control Commission is this year ’ s “ Best of the Best ” Overall Winner – a well-deserved honor considering everything the agency has done recently to upgrade its systems and integrate marijuana oversight into its mission .
All of the winners will be recognized during a ceremony at the NABCA Administrators Conference in Leesburg , VA in October .
