BM40 SCARIFIER WITH COLLECTOR
The BellonMit BM40 from Campey Turf Care Systems is a professional dethatcher and scarifier with fixed blades and an integrated collector. Its blademounting system allows individual worn blades to be replaced without dismantling the transmission or rotor, helping to simplify maintenance and reduce downtime. The high-performance rotor delivers consistent results across a range of turf conditions, even as blade edges wear. Removed thatch and debris are collected in a single pass, with hydraulic discharge at ground level for convenient unloading. Strong rotor-generated airflow also enables the BM40 to be used for leaf collection.
BM50 VERTICUTTER
The BellonMit BM50 verticutter from Campey Turf Care Systems is a professional fixed-blade machine for precise turf dethatching and vertical cutting. Its blade system enables individual worn blades to be replaced without completely dismantling the transmission or rotor, simplifying maintenance. The highperformance rotor provides dependable cutting action in a wide range of conditions, even when blade edges are not at their optimum. The standard configuration uses 3-mm Hardox blades spaced at 30-mm intervals.
BOBCAT DT19 DETHATCHER AND VERTICUTTER
The Bobcat DT19 dethatcher and verticutter is built to help sports field managers maintain healthy, high-performance natural grass. Designed to efficiently remove thatch and surface debris, the DT19 improves air, water and nutrient movement into the rootzone, promoting stronger turf growth and playing surface consistency. Its 19-inch working width allows operators to cover ground efficiently while still providing the maneuverability needed around sidelines, goal areas and other high-traffic sections of athletic fields. Featuring durable, heat-treated flail blades and easy depth adjustment, the DT19 enables precise dethatching based on field conditions and seasonal maintenance needs. The machine’ s rugged construction is engineered for dependable performance in demanding turf management environments. By reducing excessive thatch buildup, field managers can improve turf density, enhance recovery from wear, and create a safer, more playable surface for athletes. The DT19 is an effective solution for routine sports field renovation and turf health management programs.
GKB COMBITOOL FROM STEC
Thatch buildup— left unchecked— stops the movement of water and air into your surface and weakens root development. It also sets the stage for disease pressure during peak seasons. The challenge most turf managers face isn’ t knowing that dethatching is important, it’ s finding the right equipment to get the job done efficiently. The GKB Combitool, available from STEC, handles brushing, raking and slitting in one module frame. It has four attachment slots, including slitting tines and disc options built for thatch control, that can be configured and depth- adjusted independently. That way, you’ re not compromising on aggression in one area to protect another. Available in four working widths from 47 to 94 inches, it scales from tee boxes to full fields, running on tractors as small as 25 hp. For golf, sports turf, and municipal crews juggling tighter maintenance windows, that’ s one machine doing a season’ s worth of jobs.
REDEXIM TURF-TIDY
Verticutting can leave a mess behind, and somebody has to clear it before the field can be played on again. The Redexim Turf-Tidy cuts and collects in one pass: the rotor lifts thatch and clippings straight into the hopper, so nothing is left to rake up. Interchangeable rotors switch the same machine between verticutting, sweeping and flail cutting, covering work that usually takes several implements. A fully floating head with independent rollers holds working depth on a field worn by a season’ s play, so high spots are not scalped. Brush pressure can be set light enough to lift debris without tearing the turf, and with the caster wheels it clears leaves off paths and parking lots in the fall. Two models, both 71 inches wide and from 45 hp.: the 3000 with a 3.9-cubic-yard hopper and the 5000 with 6.5-cubic-yard hopper. High-tip discharge easily empties into a trailer.
TRILO M4 FROM STEC
This season comes with debris buildup that doesn’ t care about making your maintenance schedules easier. Leaves, clippings, and litter pile up regardless. The Trilo M4 from STEC is built to handle sweeping, mowing, verticutting and vacuuming. It’ s one machine that cuts what would be a multi-step job down to a single pass. The M4’ s interchangeable rotor system is what makes it adaptable. Swap in the flail rotor for mowing, verticutting rotor for thatch removal, or a brush rotor for leaf and debris cleanup— all on the same PTO-driven chassis. A 5.2 cubic-yard hopper with a high-lift dump means fewer trips to unload, and the standard 20-foot suction hose reaches fence lines and drainage areas your mower may not be able to. Running on tractors from 45-90 PTO HP, the M4 is a great fit for golf courses, sports fields, and municipal operations looking to consolidate equipment without sacrificing capability.
TORO GRANDSTAND MULTI FORCE DETHATCHER ATTACHMENT
The Toro GrandStand Multi Force stand-on mower, equipped with the front-mount tine rake dethatcher attachment, helps turf managers efficiently remove thatch, leaves and debris while preparing turf for the cooler months. Patented tines lift and remove thatch while helping protect healthy turfgrass, leaving fields with a clean, hand-raked appearance. Enhanced hydraulics and a patent-pending movable front caster design help optimize machine balance and power transfer across attachments, making the GrandStand Multi Force a versatile solution for year-round sports field maintenance. Additionally, Toro’ s quick-attach system makes attaching the tine rake dethatcher quick and simple, connecting to the mower with a mount bar and two clevis pins.
WOOD BAY FDS TURF DETHATCHER
The FDS series of turf dethatchers is engineered to handle a variety of surfaces, from the contours and undulations of a golf course to the flat surfaces associated with every grass sports field, dirt field and synthetic turf. No longer limited to tractors, the latest series of dethatchers offers a quad( ATV) work option. One tool services three surfaces:
Grass fields: Dethatching, overseeding, topdressing, and allowing water and fertilizer to penetrate the rootzone. Adjustable tines can“ tickle” or deliver deep“ dethatching.”
Synthetic turf: The FDS series dethatchers reduceG-rating limits and compaction in athletic fields, making artificial turf feel like“ real grass.”
Condition and loosen dirt: Baseball and softball field conditioning is a snap with the FDS unit. Even Churchill Downs relies upon the FDS to prepare the track for racing.
