JOHN MASCARO ’ S PHOTO QUIZ
ANSWER
From page 17
This is one of the easier quizzes , and goes to illustrate a point . The Photo Quiz does not have to contain unique photos every month – it is the subject matter in the photos that is interesting and how we deal with problems that we all face . Obviously , this is mole damage . I did find it amusing that he ran the warning track outside the dugout . Baits that look like worms , spraying insecticides to eradicate their food source , sound-emitting devices , and setting traps are all useful mole eradication techniques . However , killing moles when you find activity is probably the most effective eradication technique . A nice sharp pitchfork in the early morning hours can eradicate the problem with minimal time and expense , assuming you know where your irrigation lines are located . I took this photo and had my friend Tim pose with a knife for fun . Notice I left out all the Caddyshack references in this answer .
