Reinders 26th Turf Conference welcomed more than 600 green industry professionals
Reinders held its 26th biennial Turf Conference on March 13-14 , and even an unseasonal rainstorm couldn ’ t dampen the camaraderie of the educational conference and tradeshow at the Waukesha Expo Center ( Waukesha , Wisconsin ).
“ The 26th biennial Reinders Turf Conference continued our ongoing tradition of fostering collaboration , innovation , and education ,” said Dave Berg , turf business manager and head of the Turf Conference Planning Committee . “ This year ’ s conference featured the latest in turf industry research , an array of sports field and grounds topics , current technical advances including autonomous and electric powered grounds equipment , plus the first-ever Lighting Village — complete with seminars and a dark room for demonstrations — to address our customers ’ growing landscape and decorative lighting needs .”
Reinders welcomed 600 attendees from golf , grounds , sports turf , lawn care and landscaping businesses . The tradeshow included 53 industry exhibitors . Golf and sport turf attendees also earned continuing education units from the GCSAA and SFMA for attendance .
