Experience : While attending Mississippi State University , I interned for the Toledo Mudhens and the Detroit Tigers ( 2009-2011 ). Upon graduating , I worked for the Nashville Sounds in 2012 . From 2013-15 , I was an assistant groundskeeper with the Kannapolis Intimidators . In 2016 , I took the position of head groundskeeper for the Beloit Snappers . The following season , I accepted my current position as head groundskeeper of the West Michigan Whitecaps . I also serve on the Michigan Sports Turf Managers Association Board of Directors , as well as the Michigan Turf Foundation Board of Directors .
