FOUR-YEAR PROGRAMS : First Place – Purdue Team 404 : Emma Seward , Jacob Winger , Drew Coe and William Myrehn ( There was a tie for first place this year . As outlined in the Student Challenge study guide , in the event of a tie , the team with the higher score on three out of four sections of the exam shall be declared the winner or finish higher . The rules state that if that procedure does not resolve the tie , the team with the higher score in the Short Answer / Case Study section shall be declared the winner or finish higher .
