BANNED ACTIVITIES
SUITCASING / OUTBOARDING Suitcasing refers to the solicitation of business by attendees in trade show aisles or other public spaces, such as hospitality suites or restaurants. Often termed outboarding events, these practices can negatively impact the exhibition. These are unethical business practices and will not be tolerated.
To distribute information or conduct business, you must have a designated trade show booth. The SFMA reserves the right to remove anyone who violates this policy. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
ANTITRUST POLICY The SFMA is committed to fostering competition and fully complies with antitrust laws in both spirit and practice. Discussions regarding pricing, sales terms, wages, or any other competitive information are strictly prohibited at SFMA meetings. Thank you for helping us maintain a fair and compliant environment.
