Happy New Year !

I hope 2022 is off to a great start for you , and that you are coming off the holidays refreshed and recharged . Beginning a new year is always exciting , as it brings with it the promise of new opportunities , new challenges , and a chance to start fresh . It is a time to reflect on the past , but also to set goals for the year to come .

With regard to SportsField Management magazine , I ’ m looking forward to collaborating with the Editorial Committee on this year ’ s content , and continually growing the slate of professional editorial insight that we bring to you – including more new entries for our newest section , The Research Playbook .

I ’ m also excited that we will be featuring a full slate of Field of the Year Award winner profiles this year . As mentioned in the December issue , 11 fields were awarded Field of the Year honors . As such , we will profile each of

the winning fields in upcoming issues of SportsField Management magazine throughout 2022 – beginning in the February issue .

In addition to cultivating high-quality editorial content for the coming year , I am eager to see many of you later this month in Savannah , Ga ., for the 33rd Annual STMA Conference and Exhibition . It is a terrific opportunity to connect with the industry , learn from experts , and see what is new .
