COMPARISON / MOUNTAIN SLEDS
Polaris Patriot Boost Pro RMK 155 Limited Edition 325 Polaris Patriot 9R RMK Khaos 155 Limited Edition 275
HANDLE BARS ⊲
We need to slow down when riding a trail or even approaching a sloped backcountry turn, otherwise it’ s roll into a turn, pull on the bars, get hit on the hip or in the neck, go a bit, turn again. It’ s pure muscle to swing through at quick speeds.
DISPLAY ⊲
The slow-down warning works well, but the gas / brake warning message visually screams at the rider to release the brake— even though it’ s no longer engaged.
TRACK ⊲
It’ s not hard to keep on an edge once you get it there; it just takes a bit to handle.
MOUNTAINSIDE CHATTER Polaris Patriot Boost Pro RMK 155 Limited Edition 325
ENGINE ⊲
Turbo! It didn’ t have any wowing points on flats, hills or backcountry, but it hits hard once you’ re there. It’ s just slow. The weight penalty alone cannot make up for the lack of response you need everywhere else. Over 8,000 feet elevation, it’ s got more jam than its 9R sibling.
