LEV Manufacturing , Inc . ( formerly known as Life Electric Vehicles , Inc .), a prominent e-bike manufacturer and Lane VC and mobility-focused investment firm , announced the acquisition of Serial 1 Cycle Company , LLC , formerly owned by Harley-Davidson .
The establishment of Serial 1 as an independent brand in 2020 combined Harley- Davidson ’ s product development capability and leadership in two-wheel electric propulsion with the agility and innovation of a startup brand dedicated to an e-bike product . The acquisition positions Serial 1 for even greater success and long-term growth with its expertise in USA-Based E-Bike Production , Service and Support .
Serial 1 ’ s partnering with LEV Manufacturing ensures its commitment to quality and its premium e-bike offerings will be upheld by a dedicated in-house production team in the U . S . The addition of new U . S . -based service and support teams will help lower bike prices throughout the Serial 1 network .

KYMCO reveals ‘ game-changing ’ EV solution at EICMA 2023
With more than 25 years of EV innovation , KYMCO announced three technologies at EIMCA 2023 to accelerate the adoption of electric motorcycles : The Ionex Battery-asa-Service Solution for energy companies , the Ionex Battery Metering Unit for EV manufacturers and the Ionex Energy Station for battery-swapping network operators .

According to KYMCO , EV manufacturers can use this technology to introduce electric motorcycles with integrated onboard battery metering . Without battery costs , electric motorcycles are more affordable .
Battery-swapping network operators can then deploy thousands of battery-swapping stations , KYMCO says , erasing range anxiety . Battery-swapping networks provide riders with zero-wait charging and unlimited range .
