Harley-Davidson launches Flex Financing Program

Harley-Davidson Financial Services has announced the launch of Harley-Davidson Flex Financing , a loan option that provides an alternate way to purchase a Harley motorcycle . The financing option combines the benefits of monthly payments , shorter terms and greater flexibility with the ability to return the motorcycle at the end of term , like a lease .

Trader Interactive rebrands and expands marine marketplace

Trader Interactive has expanded its marine marketplace , doubled boat inventory and dealer partnerships , upgraded features for users and rebranded Boatline to Boatmart .
The initiative will offer consumers a wider range of options , attract more shoppers to the site and add value for dealers and retailers . For consumers , Boatmart offers improved navigation and search capabilities , twice as many listings , dealer locations as before , inventory from many of the market ’ s top OEMs and other features .
For dealers , benefits include the potential for increased leads via Boatmart ’ s improved interface and larger inventory to drive consumers to the site . Boatmart also provides seamless transfer of dealer listing data , fast integration with the TraderTraxx management platform , rich lead distribution tools and access to Statistical Surveys Inc . ( SSI ) offering rich pre-purchase and post-purchase data .

According to composite data from more than 1,700 dealers in the U . S . that use the Lightspeed DMS , the average dealership was down 19.1 % in the parts department in February . The Midwest , down 25.6 %, reported the most signifi cant decrease in parts revenue . The West reported the lowest revenue decrease in the parts department of 11.1 %. The service department was up an average of 2.9 % in February . The South was up 5.6 % in service , followed by the
Northeast , reporting 5.4 % revenue growth in the service department . The average dealer was down 5.9 % in sales . The West , down 10.8 %, reported the most signifi cant decrease in sales revenue . The Midwest reported a 4.8 % increase in sales revenue and the remaining U . S . regions were down in the sales department . The average dealership was down 6.2 % in combined revenue in February , following an average decrease of 13.4 % in January .
PARTS SALES Parts sales revenue was up at 635 dealerships and down at 1125 .
SERVICE SALES Service revenue was up at 930 dealerships and down at 809 .
MAJOR UNIT SALES A total of 689 dealerships were up and 898 were down .
