OCTANE ENHANCES SOFTWARE Octane Lending , Inc ., announced an enhancement to its digital soft pull tool , Prequal Flex , with the launch of personalized marketing kits dealers can use to drive consumer applications .
By embedding a prequalification tool within ready-to-use marketing assets , the new , downloadable kits give dealers a fast way to market their products and help consumers understand their buying power while they research vehicles . Each Prequal Flex kit is tailored to the specific dealership and includes creative assets formatted for key marketing channels . That includes digital and social media advertisements as well as print materials like hang tags , stickers , and in-dealership and at-event signage . All assets in the kit include a personalized QR code tied to that specific dealership that consumers can scan to fill out a short , fast financing application and receive an instant credit decision from Octane ’ s in-house lender , Roadrunner Financial , Inc .
Octane rolled out Prequal Flex to all powersports dealers in May 2023 . Prequal Flex is an extension of Octane ’ s award-winning suite of softpull ecommerce tools , Octane Prequal . Prequal Flex helps dealers expand their reach by attracting customers outside of their local market . Enrolled dealers can find their Prequal Flex marketing kit as well as their dedicated Prequal Flex link on the homepage of their Octane Dealer Portal . Prequal Flex leads appear in the dealer portal alongside applications from other channels , providing a fast , easy financing experience for dealers and consumers .
YANMAR ELECTRIC CONCEPT EXCAVATOR Yanmar Holdings Co ., Ltd . has unveiled a prototype electric work machine with advanced force control . The company showed its prototype at the Construction DX Challenge 2023 , organized by the Japanese Ministry of Land , Infrastructure , Transport , and Tourism .
Yanmar says the implementation of an articulated motor , not a conventional electric cylinder , will help expand the range of motion through electrification , enabling high-altitude work like ceiling operations .
Developed in collaboration with JAXA ’ s Space Exploration Innovation Hub Center , the large Series Elastic Actuator ( SEA ) was part of a prototype for the next-generation work machine under the Moonshot Research and Development Program . Yanmar successfully implemented force control capabilities , a challenge for conventional hydraulic systems . Using the SEA composed of an electric motor , reducer , and spring , the functionality was implemented in an electric mini excavator .
This technology aims to automate fine manual tasks , addressing labor shortages at construction sites . Moving forward , the company plans to conduct further verification to realize the practical applications of next-generation work machines in construction sites and similar environments .
ASV ADDS ATTACHMENTS ASV introduces new attachments to serve professionals in forestry , construction , landscaping and snow clearing . They include a low-flow mulcher , stump grinders , angle brooms , a teleboom , a long floor bucket , a cold planer and a v-blade . The attachments are tested and optimized for ASV machines .
“ We are growing our attachment line to provide customers with the performance they need out of their attachment and ASV machine right out of the gate ,” said Frank Gangi , Yanmar Compact Equipment North America product manager – attachments . “ These new additions to the line are just another step toward providing operators with all of the tools they need to get more done in more places .”
ASV said the attachments are available through its dealer network and are built to last and improve jobsite productivity . Each was chosen and carefully matched to ASV machines for maximum compatibility . The result is guaranteed performance right off the shelf , with plug-and-play performance ready to go from day one .
The new attachments are also simple to finance . If eligible , commercial buyers who buy an ASV machine through an ASV dealer have the option to finance the attachment with the loader . ASV backs the attachments with a two-year warranty . Parts and support are available directly through the company .
