YARD FORCE LAUNCHES 48V BATTERY- POWERED RER RIDING MOWER Yard Force USA has announced the launch of its new 48v Brushless 38-inch battery-powered RER riding mower , the YF48vRX-RER38 .
The new mower features : 1.5 acres of run time on a single charge ; Twin-blade 38-inch deck with 3-in-1 cutting capability ; Control panel features push-button start , cruise control , electronic RMO and an LCD screen with real-time battery power indicator ; and
Two USB charge ports , ideal for powering electronic devices while mowing .
The included TransFlo battery charger connects to a standard household outlet for convenient charging between uses . The twin-blade 38-inch steel deck features the Yard Force Vortex cutting system , designed to accelerate clipping circulation for more efficient mulching , side discharge or bagging . A deck wash port feature utilizes an included adapter to connect a garden hose to flush debris from below the deck .
A tow hitch plate on the rear of the steel tube frame allows the user to connect a broadcast spreader , garden cart and other towable yard accessories . A grass bagger system is available as an accessory . The mower ’ s dual-bag system attaches quickly and easily without tools and includes a set of high-lift blades to efficiently propel the clippings up the Vortex tunnel and into the bags .
The YF48vRX-RER38 is backed by a 3-year warranty on the chassis and drivetrain and a 1-year warranty on the battery .

TAKEUCHI RELEASES TB20E BATTERY- POWERED COMPACT EXCAVATOR Takeuchi reported that its TB20e battery-powered compact excavator will soon be available for sale and rental at dealers through North America . In February 2022 , Takeuchi partnered with United Rentals to introduce the first 100 units as a pilot program to gauge customer reaction and feedback .
Similar in performance to Takeuchi ’ s diesel-powered TB216
compact excavator , the TB20e is powered by a lithium-ion battery designed to offer a continuous working range from four to eight hours ( depending on application and environment ). The excavator features an on-board charger with 95v to 265v single-phase power . When operators require additional runtime , they can tether the TB20e to the onboard charger and remain operational . A faster , optional off-board charger can charge the TB20e in just two to four hours using 408v to 552v three-phase power , the company notes .
