MAKITA INTRODUCES TWO NEW CHAIN SAW SHARPENING KITS Makita U . S . A . has released two saw chain sharpening kits to retain optimal sharpness levels for chain saws as well as pole saws : the 5 / 32-in . Chain Sharpening Kit ( D-75910 ) and the 4.5 mm Chain Sharpening Kit ( D-75926 ).
The kits are self-contained and include a variety of tools to maintaining saw chains , including : Saw chain file ; File guide ; Flat file ; Depth gauge tool ; and Two extra file handles .
The saw chain file is used together with the file guide to sharpen saw chain cutting teeth , and the flat file is used with the depth gauge tool to maintain proper saw chain depth gauge settings . The kit is offered in a convenient storage bag to protect the tools from the elements .
Makita also offers replacements for the round files and the flat files in either a 2-pack or a 12-pack .
AMSOIL ADDS TO SYNTHETIC ATV / UTV MOTOR OIL FAMILY Amsoil has added a new lubricant viscosity to the Amsoil Synthetic ATV / UTV Motor Oil product line : Amsoil 0W-50 Synthetic ATV / UTV Motor Oil , formulated to offer riders a high-performance upgrade from OEM-branded oils . It joins the company ’ s existing 10W-40 , 5W-50 , 10W-30 and 5W-40 viscosities .
Amsoil 0W-50 Synthetic ATV / UTV Motor Oil is purposebuilt to stay in grade for chores like hauling or plowing , or when conquering tough terrain , the company reports . It provides superior cold-flow ability for quick starts in extreme temperatures and severe-service conditions . It also delivers consistent clutch feel and protects against sludge and varnish .

The 0W-50 Synthetic ATV / UTV Motor Oil is recommended for use in applications that require a 0W-50 oil , including those made by Polaris and four-stroke Prostar S4 snowmobiles . Amsoil notes that the new motor oil will not void ATV or UTV warranties .
CASE LAUNCHES 2 NEW ELECTRIFIED MINI EXCAVATORS , NEW D SERIES MINI EXCAVATOR Case Construction Equipment has launched two new electrified mini excavators and a new diesel-powered mini excavator .
Anchoring the new mini excavator launch for Case is the introduction of two all-new electrified machines : the CX- 15EV and the CX25EV . The CX15EV is rolling into Case dealers now , and the CX25EV will be available later in 2023 , the company reports .
The CX15EV is a 3,186-pound mini excavator powered by a 21 horsepower / 16 kW electric motor , and the CX25EV is a 4,828-pound mini excavator running with a 27 horsepower / 20 kW electric motor . The lithium-ion battery featured in both machines is charged either by the 110V / 220V on-board charger , or via an external rapid charger that can have the machine charged typically within 90 minutes .
