44 April 2018 THUNDER PRESS Known for years as a manufacturer of cutting- edge brake pads including their Z+, Gold+ and Xtreme pads, Lyndall Racing Brakes is now offering their Lug Drive Sprocket System. The sprocket is manufactured from 7075-T6 aluminum with Type-3 hard-anodized fi nish and allows for a 48–58 sprocket tooth exchange (in one-tooth increments) using a com- mon center carrier web. The carrier web is formed from 6061-T6 with a decora- tive Type-2 anodize fi nish. Mounting hardware utilizes a Physical Vapor Deposition coating system for extended life. Lyndall has also recent- ly developed their high- carbon Crown Cut Full Floating Brake Rotors. Adopted as the offi cial factory rotors for all of the Indian FTR750 fl at- track racers, these brake rotors offer superior gas slots for an increase in cool- ing and weigh in at only one pound. We also visited with National Cycle Marketing Manager Ann Willey who showed THUNDER PRESS the company's new Universal Fitment Flyscreen. Fabricated from polycarbonate with an epoxy coated steel base, this mini fl yscreen is designed for the Indian Scout and H-D Dyna and XL models, accommodating three different fork tub- ing diameters and a variety of fork tube spacing. Also putting in an appearance was Kuryakyn with every type of fi nned cover imaginable for both Indian and Harley, Cardo Systems showing the latest developments in Bluetooth communica- tions, Progressive Suspension with their Frequency Sensing Technology dynamic damping series and the spring 2018 apparel line from Roland Sands Design. Friday evening after the doors to the Expo closed, brand partners, ven- dors and members of the media were treated to a sumptuous dinner, cash bar, live music in the hotel lounge and a Texas Hold 'Em poker tournament with almost 100 players participating. So while no one can deny that the world of motorcycling has undergone drastic changes in the last fi ve years, it is also apparent that we remain a stubborn lot, not easily pressured into abandoning our passions. 4 Progressive Suspension had a new 2018 Softail on hand providing a live demonstration of their product in action Dar Holdsworth showing off his company's latest product, motocross-inspired fl oorboards by Brass Balls Cycles Tucker Rocky Continued from page 28
