Melanie Dufresne has been promoted to Vice President, Market Strategist. Dufresne celebrated her 10th anniversary with Tremcar last November.Sincejoining the company in 2014, she has played a pivotal role in distinguishing Tremcarwith her tireless work and dedication. Working closely with all departments, she has championed the promotion of Tremcar’s products and employer brand, while also conducting market research to identify new opportunities and expand the client base. She is also actively involved in organizing eventsandcontributestoTremcar’s socialclub.
Tremcar also announced the promotion of Alex Laforest to Head of USA Sales. Laforest began his journey with Tremcar in 2012 in the technical department , later serving as Sales Coordinator before becoming Director of Operations for Tremcar’s Boston division. Over the years, he has built strong relationships with existing clients and remains dedicated to identifying new opportunities to grow Tremcar’s presence in the United Statesmarket.
General Filters named Eric Miller as its new Director of Sales and Marketing, effective July 21. Miller brings over 20 yearsofextensiveexperienceleadingsales and marketing growth strategies from his tenure at Owens Corning. His expertise in strategic planning and execution will be instrumental in driving the targeted growth of GeneralAire, GeneralOil,Garber, Second Wind, and Unifilter product brands across new and existing channels.
Additionally, General Filters announced that Allan Feys, long-standing Director of Sales and New Business Development,willtransitionintotherole ofNationalContractorServicesManager. Taylor Garnett has over three years of experience in commercial banking, specializing in financial services for Healthcare and Not-for-Profit organizations . Before joining Cetane Associates, she was an Associate at Texas-based Amegy Bank, where she supported financing for a wide range of clients including churches, nonprofits, private schools, arts organizations, and healthcare institutions. Taylor hold a bachelor's degree in finance from Texas A&M University.
Before joining Cetane Associates, Jack McMurchie spent three years at Turner Stone & Company as an audit professional, leading and supporting engagements for both SEC-registered and privately held clients. His work included analyzing financial statements , testing internal controls, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
