At the Northern New England Energy Conference , Aug . 30-Sept . 1 at Omni Mount Washington Resort in Bretton Woods , N . H ., the Maine Energy Marketers 2021 longevity awards were presented to : Sprague Operating Resources , F . W . Webb , Branch Brook Fuels , Charlie Burnham Heating Services , Davis Oil Co ., F . I . A ., Hometown Fuel , MPE , Pine Tree Food Equipment , Townsend Energy , Suburban Propane , Northeast Mechanical & Energy Management Services , Good Times Unlimited RV Sales and Service , and Hall & Smith Energy .

The Maine group also presented 2020 longevity awards to Adams & Fogg Oil Equipment , Gray , Gray & Gray , Taurus Systems , Blue Flame Gas , M . W . Sewall , Eastern Propane & Oil , and Crown Energy Solutions .

The Energy Marketers of New Hampshire presented 2021 member of the year honors to Dead River Co ., Jason Grower , regional director of operations , accepting , and vendor of the year to PGANE , Leslie Anderson , president and CEO , accepting .

Stephen Fitzpatrick , founder and CEO of Biofine Technologies , and Mike Cassata , head of commercial development , discussed their project to develop production facilities in Lincoln , Maine . A tentative agreement has been reached to locate a multi-phase biofuels refinery on a former mill site in Lincoln , Maine .

Biofine plans to build at least two phases of its biorefinery development at the site . Its technology utilizes waste wood products and other cellulosic waste to produce ethyl levulinate , a green drop-in substitute for home heating fuel .
