Jim Martin has joined PGO as the Sales Manager , replacing industry-veteran Leslie Steeves who has transitioned to the newly created role of Key Account Manager . Martin is a 16-year veteran of the fuel industry and has worked in both sales and operations management . His focus will be on new business ; Steeves will shift her focus to large customer retention .
Scott Ireland is PGO ’ s new Safety Manager , chartered with ensuring that employees put PGO ’ s core value of safety above all else . He will be working closely with field teams to ensure adherence to safety protocols . Ireland has held many safety positions across a number of industries over a career of more than 35 years .
Bill Chisholm is new to the industry but he is not new to purchasing product and maintaining inventory levels . As the Supply and Pricing manager , he will lead a team responsible for ensuring that PGO has the fuel on hand to meet the challenges posed by New England weather .

TREMCAR USA TO BUILD NEW PLANT
Tremcar USA will be constructing a new manufacturing building in Strasburg , Ohio , and is adding two days to its service center , the company announced . The 20,000-square-foot building , which will include three production lines , is scheduled to be in operation by the end of summer 2023 . The company said it is investing more than $ 4 million in the project .
The manufacturing space will be for production of aluminum DOT 406 tankers . As for the service center , the extra 5,000 square feet of surface area will meet a pressing need for maintenance and repair space , the company said .
The company has been operating since 1998 in the United States and since 2004 in Ohio , Daniel Tremblay president of the Tremcar group , said . “ It is time we invest to renovate our installations to meet greater demands from our customers in the USA ,’’ he said .
Dave Brooks , General Plant Manager at Tremcar USA , said the company plans to build a state-of-the-art facility equipped with the latest technology : barrel rotators , fixtures , tool boxes , and more will all be new . The expansion will necessitate an additional 27 to 30 employees . The company plans to reorganize the older facility to increase capacity and provide modern resting facilities for employees .
Tremcar USA based in Strasburg , Ohio , manufactures aluminum tank-trailers for the domestic market , and for export to Canada . The company also services and leases tank-trailers through Tremlease Leasing .

Westmor Industries , manufacturer and supplier of energy storage , transportation , and dispensing equipment , announced that it acquired Metzler Bros . Tank , Truck , and Trailer .
The new location has been rebranded as Westmor Industries and expands Westmor ’ s ability to sell and service refined fuel and propane transportation products in the mid-Eastern U . S . Westmor ’ s Eastern customers will now have access to an extended network that includes a location in Duncansville , PA .
Metzler Bros , Tank , Truck , and Trailer ’ s customers will get the same great people and service they ’ ve always worked with plus access to numerous other locations , products , and services .
