� KAREEN BELIN JOINS PARACO GAS
Paraco announced that Kareen Belin has joined the company as a Channel Specialist working with commercial customers and network partners . As the largest privately held propane company in the Northeast , Paraco has achieved growth through both acquisitions and organic expansion .
“ In this business , relationships matter . Customers matter . We are thrilled to have Kareen join our sales organization ,” said Christina Armentano , COO of Paraco . “ Kareen ’ s addition is a key part of our new strategic growth approach for FY2025 , and we are excited to have him onboard .”
Kareen brings nearly 20 years of experience in the energy industry to this role , with a background spanning retail , manufacturing , and senior positions at HOP Energy , F . W . Webb , Quality Steel Tanks , Cavagna Group , and most recently as the owner of Restoration1 .

Arthur L . Irving died on May 13 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston , Mass ., Irving Oil announced . The company said Irving had died “ after a long , courageous battle with cancer .” He was 93 .
Irving joined the family business , Irving Oil , in 1951 . In 1972 , he became president and chairman .

Arthur Irving was born on July 14 , 1930 , to Harriet Lila and Kenneth Colin Irving at the General Hospital in Saint John , New Brunswick . He grew up on Mount Pleasant Avenue in Saint John , attending Winter Street School . An entrepreneur even in childhood , he received an award for top sales of
Irving joined the family business , Irving Oil , in 1951 . In 1972 , he became president and chairman .
the Saturday Evening Post , and started a business with his brothers , Jim , Art and Jack , selling farm eggs .
He attended Rothesay Collegiate School and Acadia University . At Acadia , he played varsity rugby and , later in life , served as chancellor of the university .
He developed the K . C . Irving Environmental Science Centre and Harriet Irving Botanical Gardens at Acadia University and the Harriet Irving Library Research Commons and Rose Garden at the University of New Brunswick .
With his wife Sandra , he was committed to supporting health research and care . At home in Saint John , they championed the cancer survivorship program and at the Lahey Clinic , have supported a chair in Neurology and mentorship programs . At the Massachusetts General Hospital , the Irvings were dedicated champions of cancer research and care .
Irving supported Ducks Unlimited , serving on the Board for 32 years , including two years as president . His lifelong commitment would help to propel environmental research across Atlantic Canada . The Beaubassin Research Station was a special project that he would champion in propelling the field forward . His other environmental activities led to the establishment of The Arthur L . Irving Institute for Energy and Society at Dartmouth College and the Arthur L . Irving Entrepreneurship Centre at Saint Mary ’ s University .
His efforts were recognized in being made an Officer of the Order of Canada in 2002 , and in 2012 , he received the Order of New Brunswick . In 1997 , Irving was inducted into the New Brunswick Business Hall of Fame , and in 2008 , he was inducted into the Canadian Business Hall of Fame .
He is survived by his wife of 40 years , Sandra Irving ; his brother James K . Irving ; his children Jennifer Goddard , Kenneth Irving , Arthur Irving Jr ., Emily Irving and Sarah Irving ; eight grandchildren , and a great-granddaughter . His brother Jack died in 2010 .
