ADD SYSTEMS HOSTS USER CONFERENCE ADD Systems hosted its Business Tech Conference in May . The 2023 BTC featured over 600 attendees and over 25 exhibitors .
BTC at Disney ’ s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts . It was a week filled with networking , sharing best practices , learning about the latest ADD software , meeting with exhibitors , and included family activities .
The event started off with ADD Systems President Bruce C . Bott honoring his late father , Bruce A . Bott , the founder of ADD Systems . He shared his father ’ s words of wisdom : “ Be honest , be fair , and treat others as you would like to be treated ,” a sentiment he and the ADD Systems staff carry on to this day . All of the platinum sponsors , gold sponsors , and exhibitors featured during the BTC were recognized .
The conference featured informative sessions , Q & A discussions , sponsor presentations , ADD User Group ( AUG ) meetings , and more .
The ADD User Group held its annual meetings during the BTC . Many clients who had not yet joined the AUG got to hear the benefits , including collaboration with their peers , best practices for ADD software , and being an integral part of ADD product development . All BTC attendees got time to network at sessions , lunches , and evening events . Among users attending were Tedd Teschner , HOP Energy ; Carolyn Taylor , Sayle Oil Company ; and Paul Borneman , Island Energy Services .

MARY HALL JOINS R . W . BECKETT
R . W . Beckett , developer and manufacturer of combustion products used in heating , cleaning equipment , and other custom applications , hired Mary Hall as account manager . She is the first female addition to the sales team .
Hall joins R . W . Beckett with extensive experience in sales , account management , software-as-a-service ( SaaS ), and the Internet of Things ( IoT ) — most recently selling smart thermostats , sensors , and automatic water shutoffs to HVAC and plumbing contractors . Based in Massachusetts , she is covering the Maine , RI , and Boston / Cape Cod territory for R . W . Beckett , taking over for

industry veteran Frank Fitzpatrick , who is retiring later this year .
