SOFT BUT TOUGH
Soft luggage has advantages off-road, namely weight savings and a lower chance of injuring a leg if the bike falls. BMW has now released its own line of soft luggage for GS models. The bags feature dual-layer construction with inner waterproof liners, compression straps, Beaver Tail panels to easily stash bulky items and internal stiffeners to maintain shape even if not full. The side bags mount using existing BMW racks and model-specific mounting plates. Your dealer and the BMW website have specific model fitment and pricing information.

BestRest Products has created a new CyclePump tire inflator specifically designed for the rigors of adventure travel. The new CyclePump Expedition is clad in rubber armor that shrugs off abuse and prevents dirt and sand from entering the case. The 18-inch air hose has two brass chuck options: straight or 90-degree for bikes with limited space between the valve stem and hub. The 8-foot power cord has four connections: cigarette, BMW plug, SAE and alligator clips. A 2 x 6 x 10-inch storage pouch is included. Prices are $ 115( straight chuck) or $ 130( 90-degree).
