Some rides are about where you go, others are about who you’ re with. The Moto Relief Project( motorelief. org) is a non-profit organization that provides motorcycle adventure tours for veterans with PTSD and other injuries. Its mission is to“ honor and encourage veterans while providing them with opportunities to decompress, get unstuck and connect with other veterans.” Veteran and Rider contributor Clement Salvadori joined one of MRP’ s“ Relief Rides” in the Rocky Mountains last year, which turned out to be one of the most unique and memorable tours of his life. According to Clem, this photo was taken“ in Guffey, Colorado, an old mining town that had some 500 inhabitants in 1900; today, less than a 100. That’ s the Guffey Garage in the background, no longer a working garage, more of a museum and souvenir store, and home to Monster the Cat, duly elected mayor of Guffey.”
