S afe alcohol consumption is a critical goal that requires efforts from the entire industry . Collaboration across the tiers is common . This helps maximize programs intended to reduce dangerous behavior , while spreading communications that can improve and protect public safety . Everybody wins when the industry comes together on this fundamental objective .

RNDC , PERNOD RICARD PROMOTE SAFE RIDE PROGRAM The Republic National Distributing Company ( RNDC ) has partnered with Pernod Ricard ( PRUSA ) to help keep roads safer during celebrations surrounding the St . Patrick ’ s Day holiday . The partnership with RNDC sponsored up to $ 100,000 in $ 10 Uber vouchers that were distributed among RNDC ’ s Jameson markets through March 20 , 2023 .
“ RNDC seeks out opportunities to enhance our Recipe for Responsibility program , encouraging and advocating for responsible consumption ,” said Nick Mehall , CEO and President of RNDC . “ We are proud to partner with Pernod Ricard to make it easy for consumers to make the right choice in safely getting home from their St . Patrick ’ s Day celebrations .”
Riders could claim their $ 10 UBER voucher by visiting a URL link that unlocked the discounted ride . The offer was valid within PRUSA-partnered markets : Indiana , Louisiana , Maryland , Nebraska , New Mexico , North Dakota , Oklahoma , South Dakota , Texas and Washington D . C .

RNDC is proud to be in the business of selling and distributing premium alcohol beverages , the company said in a press release , adding that , “ however , immoderate , or irresponsible use of alcohol can have serious consequences for RNDC customers , suppliers , associates , the company , and the entire industry .”
This program also encouraged the sharing on social media of the public-safety focused hashtag , # RecipeforResponsibility .
ALCOHOL INDUSTRY UNITES IN ‘ WE DON ’ T SERVE TEENS ’ CAMPAIGN More than 40 associations and companies representing all three tiers of the alcohol industry joined together with community groups to launch “ We Don ’ t Serve Teens ,” an education campaign aimed at continuing progress on reducing underage drinking by stopping teens ’ access to alcohol .
Originally launched in 2006 , We Don ’ t Serve Teens is a national , multi-faceted initiative that invites consumers , businesses and organizations to join together to bring an end to underage drinking . While the campaign has been refreshed , its core message remains “ Don ’ t serve alcohol to teens . It ’ s unsafe . It ’ s illegal . It ’ s irresponsible .”
As part of the campaign , this important underage drinking message will be seen in li- quor stores and restaurants , heard on radio stations and shared by popular online influencers . Parents and other adults are also encouraged to participate by engaging with the campaign online .

According to the federally funded Monitoring the Future Study , from 1991 to 2021 , underage drinking declined 71 % among eighth graders , 69 % among tenth graders and 52 % among twelfth graders .
Additionally , by working together , significant strides have been made in reducing access to alcohol . But until underage drinking is eliminated , there is still work to be done , the organization
