Outboardpowered saltwater segment slows across top markets
Sales within the outboard-powered saltwater market were down over 8.5 % in the 12-month rolling period ending in July 2023 , according to the latest data from Statistical Surveys Inc .
While the majority of the top markets posted declines in the segment for the 12-month period , Boston , Mass . reported the largest decline , down 22.6 %, followed by Mobile , Ala ., down 18.7 %.
Only two of the top markets reported very slight growth for the period , with Charleston , S . C . posting the largest growth at 2.8 %.
