The product supports a wide range of single and twin propulsion applications and is compatible with most of Caterpillar ’ s propulsion engines from Cat C7.1 to C280 . It also effectively controls marine transmissions from all major brands . Beyond controlling engine start / stop and bow and stern thrusters , the new MPC100 powertrain control system offers the interface with all kinds of ancillary navigation systems such as autopilots , integrated multi-functional displays , and dynamic positioning systems commonly used in marine applications .
