Charting a course for connection
At the Boating Industry Elevate Summit awards celebration , I sat next to a dealership general manager . We shared our experiences in a country that he grew up in , and that I have visited . The food , the scenery , the people – we connected over special memories .
Just as businesses need partnerships , individuals need community and personal connection . Whether we meet at an event , collaborate on a call or communicate through email , you have my full attention . I want to learn about you – your passions , your challenges , your successes – so we can grow together .
Countless stories are waiting to be told , and I ’ m eager to dive in . Beyond boats and career paths , our shared experiences deepen connections . When we focus our attention on the people around us , we expand our perspectives and strengthen our industry . In the future , when I call the general manager that I met at Elevate Summit for insights about the market or his business , his input and perspective will carry weight , and it started over a fun dinner discussion .
Perspective . It ’ s what shapes us , and I ’ m excited to bring mine to the Boating Industry table . I am grateful for this opportunity , and I want to thank former Editor-In-Chief Adam Quandt . I met Adam almost three years ago and immediately saw his passion for the boating community . While he has transitioned to a new role in the industry , he will continue to contribute to Boating Industry as the Director of the Top 100 Awards , so our boats remain at the same dock , and I look forward to continuing to learn from his years of experience .
The Boating Industry crew also includes Glenn Hansen and David Gee . Glenn was the editor of EPG Brand Acceleration ’ s former personal watercraft magazine . He now leads OPE +, Boating Industry ’ s sister publication . David held the editor-in-chief role of Boating Industry prior to Adam , and he will continue to contribute editorial content and host the Boating Industry Insider podcast .
With their wealth of experience and industry knowledge , Glenn , David and Adam bring incredible insight and value to Boating Industry . I ’ m privileged to work alongside such talented professionals , and together , we ’ re committed to serving you .
