Outboardpowered saltwater segment slows across top markets
Sales within the outboard-powered saltwater market were down over 2.8 % in the 12-month rolling period ending in December 2023 , according to the latest data from Statistical Surveys Inc .
While the majority of the top markets posted declines in the segment for the 12-month period , Mobile , Ala . reported the largest decline , down 17.4 %, followed by Houston , Texas , down 14.5 %.
Five of the top markets reported growth for the period , with Charleston , S . C . posting substantial growth at just over 185 %.
