Sales within the outboard-powered saltwater segment were down 12.74 % in the 12-month period ending in April 2023 , according to the latest data from Statistical Surveys Inc .
The majority of the top markets posted declines in the segment for the 12-month period , with New York and Orlando , Fla . reporting the largest declines , down 20.99 % and 20.15 % respectively .
Two top markets reported growth for the period . Naples , Fla . posted the largest growth , up 11.11 %, followed by the Fort Myers , Fla . BTA , up 6.63 %.
Caption : Almost all top BTAs in the outboard saltwater segment posted declines in the 12-month period ending in April 2023 , with New York posting the largest decline , down almost 21 %.
