Redemption Barrel Proof High Rye Bourbon . Dark amber in color , bottled at over 57 % ABV , with vanilla , dried flowers and nuts on the nose . Toasted nuts and the presence of a spicy rye lies on the mouth and the edges of the tongue . A medium spicy creamy finish .
Spirit of Hven Rye Whiskey . This rye proves that Sweden has more to offer than Volvo ’ s and Abba songs to sing in the shower . When brought to the nose , you know it is a rye , and yet round and smooth . It lies full in the mouth with hints of vanilla and dark fruit . Vanilla and softer spices are a part of its smooth finish .
Stellum Spirits Rye . A blend of U . S . -based ryes , bottled at 58 % ABV , from Barrel Craft Spirits . It is a high ABV and after a droplet of water rye , cinnamon and fresh apple fill the nose . Baking spices and the intensity of the high ABV adds to the overall spice and fresh fruit layers . A dry rye spice finish with hints of cinnamon , followed by a slow burn .
Talisker 10 year . Hailing from the Isle of Skye as the distillery sits on the water with sea air flowing over its casks for the 10 + years it has been resting . Maritime salt with light hints of seaweed and pear and apple draw you to the golden liquid in the glass . Peat is present with black pepper and dried fruit as it lies in the mouth . The finish is long , with dark-bodied malt to its end .
The Busker Single Malt . It is not your classic blended Irish whiskey , but one that is single malt . The light gold liquid has a honey and lemon nose . Cinnamon and apples lie in the mouth . A lovely , dry , long finish , plus hints of its time in ex-sherry casks .
TX Texas Straight Bourbon Whiskey . A soft nose of sweet corn and grandma ’ s pie . Baked pie and vanilla coat the tongue with hints of pepper on the edge , with a long smooth finish .
TX Blended Whiskey . Hints of vanilla and assorted toasted nuts are in the nose . Soft layers of vanilla and butterscotch lie on the tongue with hints of silky honey . The finish is balanced and smooth for a properly blended bourbon . Works well neat and in most bourbon-focused cocktails .
