THE FOURTH ANNUAL TOP 100 RETAILERS banquet took place in Orlando on June 15 , celebrating successful off-premise businesses from across the country .

Once again , dozens of winners joined us in person to accept their awards ( which you ’ ll see in photos later in this issue ). The list of winners includes all aspects of the industry — from single-store companies to regional chains to control state agencies .

Our list of ranked winners includes 20 innovative retailers , culminating with two-time Retailer of the Year Gary ’ s Wine & Marketplace . As a multiple winner , Gary ’ s will join Twin Liquors in our Top 100 Hall of Fame next year .

If your store did not appear on this year ’ s list , make sure you enter the 2023 awards when entries open later this year . The Top 100 program isn ’ t about sales volume or store count — it ’ s designed to recognize retailers who live by best practices that benefit the whole industry . While some of our winners enjoy billions in sales , some generate less than $ 1 million a year in sales . We are looking for the best retailers in the country , regardless of size .
