“ The pandemic drastically changed the trajectory and role of ecommerce in our industry ,” Emily Bibeault says .” It was a massive challenge itself , and so was defining the path forward in a constantly changing environment .”
Throughout the past few years , she and her team found new ways to work with partners and grow Campari ’ s ecommerce business . From a LTO launch with ReserveBar to partnerships with Uber and Instacart , to award recognition from Drizly and Bottlecapps , she ’ s helped open new marketing opportunities and grow online awareness .
“ I ’ ve found that if you stay agile , test new things and surround yourself with a great team , you can turn most challenges into opportunities ,” she says . “ Living outside your comfort zone is challenging but necessary to keep moving forward .”
“ Preparation , consistency and openness to change have been crucial to setting myself up for future success ,” she adds . “ Accountability is paramount , and I give equal weight to the wins and losses because both are important for personal growth .”
HANNAH BECKER

Hannah Becker ’ s first job was in a restaurant where she developed “ a deep appreciation for the hospitality industry and beverage alcohol industry ,” she says . “ The pivotal moment arrived when I realized that I could unite my legal expertise with my passion for hospitality , and from that point there was no looking back .
While in law school , Becker ’ s first externship was with the WSWA , which cemented her goal to “ make a significant , positive impact on the beverage alcohol industry .”
To that end , she ’ s served on the Women of the Vine and Spirits Foundation Committee , which provides scholarships and mentoring opportunities for women in the industry .
“ My goal is to mentor and empower the next generation of alcohol industry attorneys and professionals ,” Becker says . “ As a Hispanic woman , I prioritize promoting diversity and inclusivity , striving to inspire a large wave of diverse leadership within the industry .”
“ Whether through my client work , pro bono projects or industry meetings , I aim to play a role in fostering professional development , enhancing representation and promoting education ,” she adds . “ I aspire to see my practice and leadership motivate others in the industry to strive for excellence and make significant contributions of their own , which should ultimately benefit the industry as a whole .”
HALEY MERRITT

For Haley Merritt , the lure of bartending was the flexibility that the job allowed when she was in school , as well as the opportunity to connect with people . “ I ’ ve always loved making new friends and learning people ’ s origin stories ,” she says .
Merritt ’ s stock has been rising on the Dallas cocktail scene ever since . She won the inaugural Shake-Up Competition in 2019 , and was named Dallas Culture Map ’ s Bartender of the Year 2023 .
Gabe Sanchez , Midnight Rambler ’ s general manager , is a key mentor . “ I have been working under him for the last three years and admire his sense of curiosity ,” Merritt says . “ Together , we have learned techniques that once seemed out of reach for both of us .”
Another professional influence is Rosey Sullivan , the creator of an all-women cocktail competition called The Shake Up . “ She is a natural problem solver , who created a platform for female bartenders in Dallas to showcase their talents and find a sense of community and mentorship with each other .”
Merritt approaches each new opportunity with an open mind and willingness to learn . “ I continue to educate myself and demonstrate my commitment to craft and gained the respect of my peers .”
