The PTO switch is a critical safety device developed to prevent unintentional blade actuation of lawn equipment. This switch is part of a series of controls that comprise a mower's safety interlock system, requiring riders to use proper procedure when operating machinery. "Many of our customers are moving toward fully sealed systems for their mowers, because people expect this equipment to perform, no matter what the conditions," said Tony Aboumrad, Delta vice president of engineering. The new Sealed PTO switch is currently in production and currently available to OPE manufacturers. Kubota unveils its best- valued utility vehicle yet Kubota Tractor Corporation introduced the new RTV-X1120 models, Kubota's most well equipped utility vehicle at its best price. Designed for the commercial customers who use these machines for heavy-duty work every day, the Kubota RTV-X1120 combines Kubota quality with enhanced power, torque and performance at a starting price point of $13,999 MSRP. "The biggest surprise for the marketplace is the technology offered at a competitive price point," said Roger Gifford, Kubota product manager, utility vehicles. "Simply put, there is no better value currently in the market, and we are extremely excited about adding these models to our lineup. We are confident that commercial customers will appreciate the six new model options to consider when purchasing a worksite utility vehicle." The RTV-X1120 features a 24.8-gross- horsepower diesel engine. Kubota-built and all-terrain proven, the 3-cylinder liquid- cooled diesel engine has a well-earned reputation for providing extra acceleration and climbing power. The engine and VHT-X transmission provide a top speed of 29 mph, as well as plenty of hill-climbing power. With the increased speed comes an increased dynamic load, so the RTV-X1120 comes equipped with three-point seatbelts for safety. Kubota's X Series was designed for comfor t and convenience under tough working conditions, and the RTV-X1120 includes style and creature comfor ts found in the RTV-X family. Designed for reducing operator fatigue during long workdays, the RTV-X1120 features new shoulder restraints for the operator and passenger, ergonomically designed 60:40 split bucket seats, digital dashboard display, fully hydraulic power steering, easily accessible parking brake, and large under-seat storage compar tments. The RTV-X1120 models are available in two color options: Kubota Orange and RealTree AP Camo.
