The RapidTrak system is designed to move fast, matching the speed of wheeled Sno-Thro model. The track design gives users the option of using a full track system for ultimate grip and traction or adjusting the back wheel of the track up, creating a faster, more maneuverable system. In the wheel setting, it is easy to turn the RapidTrak machine at the end of a driveway or around obstacles. RapidTrak also includes a third setting, which allows the user to tilt the housing of the machine down towards the ground while in track mode, helping to dig into the snow and clean to the pavement. Track adjustments are easy to make; a trigger on the right handlebar allows the user to easily adjust any setting on the go. For 2017, The RapidTrak system will be available on two Sno-Thro models — the Hydro Pro 28 RapidTrak and the Hydro Pro 32 RapidTrak. Hustler Turf showcases product updates Hustler Turf Equipment introduced product updates throughout its popular line of mowers. Now constructed with heavy 7-gauge steel, the deck will also feature a reinforced spindle area, a formed steel bump bar on the leading edge, commercial anti-scalp wheel with internal spacer, and additional upgrades. For 2018, The Super Z and Super Z HyperDrive will also feature engine guard bumpers, new 11.7-gallon fuel tank, rear wheel with heavier center disc, tapered front caster and wheel bearings, and new deck lift and height pinning system. Tapered front caster and wheel bearings, front tie downs, and revised deck lift are some of the updates on the Hustler Super S stand-on mower. New BOB-CAT XRZ Pro RS zero-turn mower BOB-CAT introduced its new XRZ Pro RS zero turn mower. Three models are available for the 2018 mowing season, featuring powerful Kawasaki FX Series engines and a choice of 48-, 52- or 61-inch mower decks. The B OB-CAT TufDeck Pro 10-gauge fabricated, welded and reinforced steel mower deck includes the BOB-CAT patented Double Wave baffle system for maximum vacuum and lift. Hydro-Gear ZT-3400 twin hydrostatic transaxles offer smooth performance and agility. Commercial cutters will experience improved run times and productivity thanks to dual fuel tanks with a 9.5-gallon capacity and a forward speed of up to 10 mph. And they can comfortably work all day, thanks to a high-back fully mechanical suspension seat with armrests. Classen adds HSC18 Pro sod cutter Classen is adding a new pro sod cutter to its line of turf equipment. The Classen HSC18 Pro sod cutter is designed for top-of-the-line transport and cutting speeds, easy operations and maximum versatility for any application. The new HSC18 Pro sod cutter comes in two size options and is easy to handle due to its compact length and integrated, rear swivel wheel. The two length options — 52 inches or 55 inches long — make it the shortest sod cutter in the industry. The integrated, rear swivel wheel ensures ease of turning and can be secured in place for straight-line cutting. John Deere expands commercial zero-turn mower lineup John Deere added two new commercial zero- turn radius mowers. The ZTrak Z945M and ZTrak Z955M models offer professionals Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) engines with higher horsepower for increased fuel efficiency and power in varied mowing conditions. The Z945M, featuring a 27-hp., 824 cc EFI engine, and the Z955M, featuring a 29-hp., 824 cc EFI engine, are available with multiple deck offerings — 60-inch side discharge or 60-inch Mulch On Demand (MOD) is available on both models, and a 72-inch side discharge is also available on the Z955M. John Deere also enhanced ride comfort and ease-of-use on these new models. The new mower offers an optional premium suspension seat on the M and R series machines. The newly designed seat offers a thicker bottom cushion, additional padding on the back with ergonomic contouring, and adjustable armrests to improve ride comfort and the overall mowing experience.
